Assessment Reports

Communicating performance data and information allows a company to demonstrate how it meets the challenge of sustainability - in its broadest sense - and to show the improvement it has made on specific issues. The information a company wishes to communicate varies considerably but it may be at site or corporate level, be specific to a product or management system or relate to pollution prevention and associated projects, customer satisfaction, stakeholder concerns/dialogue, etc.

LRQA sees its role as assuring that published data and information provides a true and transparent account of your company’s business and that data and information is complete and balanced.

e-Reports
LRQA offers an electronic report for all clients; however, if you prefer, this can be provided as a hard copy. The report will consist of:

  • the executive report – for use by top management
  • the assessment details – for use by the system management and individual departments that took part in the assessment
  • the assessment findings log – this will report on the actions that need to be taken as a result of the assessment
  • assessment schedule – this will provide information about the next visit
  • continual improvement log – this will provide valuable information to track and present your organization’s improvements

Grading
LRQA reports will use the following grading:

  • Major nonconformity – this term will be used when an assessor finds evidence of a system failure, such as non compliance with regulatory requirements or if customer requirements are not being met.
  • Minor nonconformity – this term will be used when an assessor finds a sporadic lapse in implementation of the system or a deviation from the system.
    • Both major and minor nonconformities will be followed up by the assessor.
  • Requires correction – this term can be used on occasions when an assessor finds isolated error that needs correction. There will be no automatic follow up by the assessor.
  • Scope for improvement – this term will be used by the assessor to indicate ways in which system or business improvement can be achieved by your company. You can choose if you want to act on these suggestions and there will be no automatic follow up by the assessor.
  • xLRQA - an issue for follow-up by the assessor at the next visit.
