About BRC Packaging Standards:
The BRC Packaging Standard can be used by any manufacturer producing packaging materials for all types of products – from food to consumer goods. Originally issued in 2001, the BRC Packaging Standard is now in Issue 5 which was released in July 2015. BRC Packaging Standard Issue 5 is the first packaging standard in the world to have been recognized by the GFSI benchmarking committee. Now, 3500+ organizations in 80+ countries are certified to BRC Packaging.
AuditOne™ aims to streamline the process by which major consumer brands and their supply chains conduct their quality audits globally. AuditOne™ has been developed in cooperation with global brands, including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder and Kimberly-Clark to reduce duplication in supplier audits, reducing cost and resource requirements for both brand owners and the supply chain.
BRC Packaging & AuditOne™ Together:
The BRC Packaging standard and the AuditOne™ Module enables fast moving consumer goods [FMCG] brands and their supply chains to reduce the amount of time and money spent on audits – enabling them to focus their resources on ensuring safe and sustainable products for consumers and is ideally suited to:
- organizations who produce raw materials which are used in packaging
- organizations who manufacture packaging materials which may be converted or printed
- organizations that provide core materials that then may be subject to additional processing or repackaging
- organizations that manufacturer consumer goods that are disposable
