The standard is for food manufacturers and contains requirements for a HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system in accordance with the requirements of Codex Alimentarius, a documented quality management system and control of the factory environment standards, products, process and personnel.

BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers
Issued in January 2014, it enables those organisations that buy and sell products or provide a service in the food supply chain to demonstrate best practice on product safety, quality and operational conditions.
