Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), established in 1985, is a leading global business assurance company, providing management system certification, verification and training. We assess companies for compliance to a number of international and national standards. Our mission is to help our clients use their management systems to improve their business.
LRQA is a member of the Lloyd's Register Group, an independent risk management organization that works to improve clients' quality, safety, environmental and business performance throughout the world. Founded in 1760 to examine merchant ships and 'classify' them according to their condition, the organization’s expertise and activities extend far wider than the shipping field, covering railways, management systems, land-based industries and oil & gas.
Lloyd's Register's reputation for impartiality is renowned worldwide, and LRQA has inherited the same reputation in the assessment of management systems.

Our selection process is rigorous to ensure consistency of interpretation and maintenance of skills, and all LRQA assessors must achieve ANAB and/or IRCA Lead Status.
