Expanding FSSC 22000 Across the Food Supply Chain

With the increase in certification to FSSC 22000, the food manufacturing industry has adopted proven and tested process-based food safety, risk management and quality assurance techniques. But, to effectively elminate the potential hazards, all segments of the food supply chain need to be able to apply a process-based approach to managing food safety and identify and mitigate risks. This presentation will discuss the expansion of FSSC 22000 across the entire food supply chain through the development of specific pre-requisite programs for packaging (PAS 223), animal food (PAS 222), retail, distribution and agriculture.

Speaker: Cor Groenveld, LRQA's Global Manager of Food Services
