The US Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) has introduced sweeping reform across the US food supply chain and will regulate US food manufacturers as well as their domestic and foreign suppliers, potentially impacting food organizations around the world.
Following the publication of the final rules of FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food (Final Rule), organizations around the world want to know how existing GFSI-recognized certification standards, such as FSSC 22000, can contribute to meeting the requirements of FSMA.
