US-based ASQ - the global knowledge network that links the best ideas, tools, and experts passionate about quality in more than 150 countries – has named LRQA’s Owen Ramsay as one of the 18 Fellows for his contribution and achievements within the quality arena. The new Fellows will be recognised at ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement in May.
ASQ Fellows represent diverse industries on a global scale. Fellow membership status is awarded to individuals are ASQ members in good standing and meet the following criteria:
- Have at least 15 years of quality-related experience.
- Achieve requirements across six professional categories.
- Are sponsored by peers and endorsed by their ASQ section or division.
- Have been a senior member for five years or longer.
LRQA’s Owen Ramsay was chosen for his “outstanding contributions in advancing process understanding and deployment of Lean Six Sigma rapid improvement methodology initiatives; for planned and spontaneous talks at ASQ-sponsored events and other technical forums; and for promoting and influencing the expansion of diversity within ASQ and non-ASQ leadership communities.
