Appointment strengthens LR’s widening portfolio of client focused assurance services to key sectors worldwide
David Salmon has been appointed Head of Business Improvement Services at Lloyd’s Register (LR).
The challenge of globalization, changing customer requirements, legislation and technology means that worldwide, organizations are increasingly turning to business improvement services, underpinned with client specific criteria, to help them meet their organizational goals.
With a strong pedigree in solutions led selling, Salmon has held senior leadership roles with DNV-GL, Ernst & Young and Enviros. In his new role, Salmon will focus on further strengthening the strategic direction and reach of LR’s wide range of professional business services across a broad array of sectors while further developing LR’s global market share in specialised assurance services.
“At LR, we know that every organization is unique. Its needs, goals and objectives are different than any other organization. This differentiates businesses and gives competitive advantage, but may also require a customized approach to the way business processes and programs are identified, managed, measured and improved upon,” said Duane Wood, Marketing Director at LR Management Systems & Inspection Services. “David’s appointment strengthens our stated commitment to widening our service portfolio to deliver even greater value to more than 50,000 clients that we serve worldwide.”
