During this one (1) day course, participants will explore the meaning of an integrated management system, the role of the manager in developing an IMS, links to Business Excellence and other TQM management system models and combining the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

• you are considering integrating two or more of the following management systems: Quality, Environmental or Occupational Health and Safety

• the meaning of an integrated management system
• understand what an integrated management system (IMS) is, when based on management system standards
• the role of managers in developing an IMS
• describe the difference between and IMS and a combined management system
• what other management system models are available such as EFQM Excellence
• plan the steps necessary to implement an integrated management system
• combining the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

• to understand the roles of management and the basics of how organizations work
• knowledge of any, or all, of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
