LRQA welcomes Andrew Hyde as Chief Digital and Information Officer

We are pleased to be welcoming Andrew Hyde as our new Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), effective today, to further strengthen our digital assurance strategy.

Andrew brings with him over 30 years’ experience from working in investment banking, retail banking, insurance and consulting, with companies such as Deutsche Bank, Allianz, Barclays Bank, BT and Siemens. He has a proven track record delivering business growth, including sponsoring new products and services, growing and nurturing teams, managing outsourced partners, and digitising solutions.

Andrew’s appointment as CDIO marks an important milestone in LRQA’s strategy to be the leading global assurance partner, as well as one of our five strategic priorities to ‘be digital’. Together with investment in digital platforms, Andrew’s role will be to accelerate LRQA’s digital journey both for internal operations and client experience.

Under Andrew’s leadership, we will expand our data-driven approach, ensuring our expertise is underpinned by extensive analytics, which can be applied to address current and future risks within clients’ operations and supply chain, delivering actionable insight into their businesses.

From digital audit, inspection and training methodologies to digital technology platforms that enhance supply chain insight, Andrew will help LRQA achieve flexible delivery and ensure we offer the right service in a way that makes most sense for our clients, whether that’s face-to-face or virtual.

Andrew will be based in London reporting to Ian Spaulding as a member of the Executive Committee.
